Hayman EV5922E Everglades Gun Safe

RSC-rated safe with 12-gun capacity

Hayman EV-5922-E Everglades is a 408-pound safe that proudly carries an RSC (Residential Security Container) label for burglary classification. It passed a 5-minute test when one man physically attacks the unit using mechanical tools usually found in the household. It showcases an external dimension of 59″H x 22″W x 16″D and has a storage space of 6.15 cubic ft. that can accommodate approximately 16 guns.

With excellent fire resistance

Aside from providing burglary protection, Hayman EV-5922-E is certified fire-resistant with a 1-hour fire rating. It passed a severe endurance fire test that lasted for 60 minutes. In this trial, the unit was put under an external temperature of 1,200°F and maintained an interior heat below 350°F. Contents inside remain undamaged. This gun safe also includes fire boards (the body has two pieces of ½” while the door has three pieces of 1/2″) and an intumescent door seal on all four sides of its door frame, reinforcing its fire protection ability. Additionally, it has a durable black powder-coat finish that made it more resistant to flame and increased its durability.

Strong 11-gauge exterior and upholstered interior

Constructed from an 11-gauge steel exterior, Hayman EV-5922-E’s body and the door has the standard qualifications of a quality gun safe. This safe can accommodate both rifles and handguns. Its interior has shelves and a door organizer providing more storage for accessories. It is also fully-upholstered that protects your guns from scratches and damages. This safe also includes two 7/16″ mounting holes located in the center of the safe’s depth on the right and left sides that you can utilize to provide better security and stability during installation.

Convenient electronic lock

This gun safe features an electronic lock convenient to use and doesn’t hurt your wrist and hands. Hayman EV-5922-E’s door also includes a triple drill-resistant hard plate to protect its locking mechanism against attacks.  It also has ten 1″ door bolts on all four sides of the door for total protection.

• The door has a fire-activated expanding door seal located on the door-frame on all four sides.
• (10) Door bolts are 1" in diameter and are located on all 4 sides of the door.
• A total of 2 mounting holes sized 7/16" in diameter are located in the center of the safe's depth on the right and left sides.
• The dehumidifier access hole is 7/16" in diameter and located on the lower right-hand corner of the back wall. Note that the fire board is pre-drilled.
• The interior of the safe, the shelves, and the door back cover are all upholstered.
• Interior shelving is upholstered wood.
• Safe is UL listed RSC Rated.
• Safe has a manufacturer's certified fire rating of 1 hour at 1200 degrees F.
